Overview
The new DEUTZ-FAHR 6W Profi range, Stage III A, includes 4 models with 6-cylinder Deutz engines from 130 to 180 hp. Entirely designed in Italy specifically for the export markets, they’re characterised by efficient, synchronised transmission and a choice of model – either with a cab or with a 4-pillar safety frame with a handy sunroof. The new 6W Profi range includes versatile, productive machines that not only guarantee the necessary power level for carrying out the work, but also ensure optimum productivity and reduced consumption.

TECHNOLOGIES
- ELECTRONIC ENGINE GOVERNOR
The system monitors a set of engine parameters, and optimises engine function by adjusting injection accordingly. Automated for total simplicity: lets the driver set, store and recall the most appropriate engine speed for the job in hand.
- Deutz Common Rail
High pressure common rail injection system, with two lubricated injection pumps integrated in the engine block, and an innovative combustion chamber configuration for superlative power and torque over a wide range of engine speeds.

Engine
POWERFUL, RELIABLE AND ROBUST
The new 6W Profi range is equipped with reliable Deutz TCD 2012 L6 engines, with electronically controlled DCR Common Rail fuel injection system (up to 1600 bar), a turbocharger with intercooler and waste-gate valve, cooled by means of a high-efficiency radiator unit made entirely of aluminium. These models stand out for their remarkable tractability, low consumption and long lifespan, with high efficiency and notable torque curves at low speeds.
The Common Rail DCR uses two injection pumps lubricated by the engine oil and “immersed” in the engine block which, along with electronic engine speed adjustment, produces excellent torque values even at low speeds, together with limited noise and vibrations. To reduce the nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions and therefore respect the limits set by Stage III A, a system of internal exhaust gas recirculation has been used. This is a simple construction solution. It’s reliable and requires no maintenance, but at the same time ensures accurate (in relation to the engine operating conditions) measuring of the gases sent back to the combustion chamber.
Thanks to the innovative ECU for electronic engine adjustment, consumption is always optimised on the basis of the instantaneous power requested; what’s more, its supply is largely constant over a wide engine speed range, with the torque increasing significantly as the speed falls, and this enhances operational smoothness, especially on tasks calling for frequent and sudden changes in the resistant load.
Last but not least, the structural characteristics of the Deutz TCD 2012 L6 6.1 engine block mean it has no problems withstanding the high static loads caused by the use of the front loader and/or the front lift, so there’s no need for additional supports and side frames that could compromise the accessibility of other machine components for maintenance or limit the steering range.
To guarantee a high level of operating autonomy, the models 6130 W Profi, 6145 W Profi and 6165 W Profi are fitted with a 270-litre diesel tank, but there is also the option of adding an extra 150-litre one. As standard, the 6180 W Profi houses a single tank with a total capacity of 420 litres.

Transmission
AS SIMPLE AS IT IS EFFICIENT AND ROBUST
Robustness, reliability and high efficiency are the main characteristics of the 6W Profi transmission, entirely designed and developed by SDF. There are numerous configuration possibilities to be sure of having the right gear available in every moment, according to the ideal ground speed for the work being carried out. The most simple combination offers 4 synchronised gears and 3 ranges with shuttle (also synchronised) for a total of 12 gears in each direction. This can be supplemented with a creeper or supercreeper gear (the latter allowing a groundspeed of just 200 m/h at maximum engine speed), bringing the number of forward gears in both cases to 16. A splitter can also be added, reaching a total of 24 forward gears. The traction is optimised as well, thanks to the new electrohydraulic engagement for front wheel drive and the total locking of the rear differential (that can be managed automatically in the standard configuration) according to the ground speed and steering angle. The front differential has an automatic skid limiter device (45%), but 100% locking (electrohydraulically managed) can be requested for the front axle as well. To ensure the best possible manoeuvrability and visibility, the new front support is highly tapered whilst still guaranteeing a maximum permitted load of a good 4200kg.
PTO
TOP EFFICIENCY AND RELIABILITY IN EVERY SITUATION
The versatility of the new 6W Profi range is further enhanced by the availability of 2 PTO combinations: either the classic pairing of 540 and 1000 rpm, or 540ECO + 1000 rpm. In both cases, with electrohydraulic engagement as standard. To facilitate any maintenance work, the new clutch for PTO has been positioned in an easily accessible area near the splined stub shaft.

Hydraulic System
POWERFUL, MODULAR AND HIGHLY CONFIGURABLE
With just the 94 l/min pump fitted, there is a pair of mechanically controlled double-acting distributors (for a total of 4 couplers), that can be increased to three (6 couplers). Otherwise (if the tandem pump is also installed), 6 couplers is the standard but this can be increased to 8 upon request.
With the standard version, the rear handler already ensures a notable lifting capacity of 6850kg close to the quick hitch couplers, but external hydraulic cylinders can also be added to reach a total of 8600kg. In any case, the handler works with extreme precision in strain control mode, thanks to the renowned reliability of the mechanical controls purposely designed by SDF Group.
Breaks
A COMPLETE PACKAGE
A complete package of ballast is available, to increase the mass to 990kg by effectively balancing the tractor-operator unit and avoiding a reduction in the steering angle or an increase in the longitudinal dimensions of the vehicle. The rear axle contains a robust braking system with multiple oil-bath disks, engaged by simply pressing the brake pedals thanks to automatic dual traction coupling.

Cab
A HIGHER CLASS OF ERGONOMICS AND COMFORT
In both the closed cab version and the versions with 4-pillar frame and sunroof, the driving position is very comfortable, with excellent ergonomics in keeping with all the latest standards. The use of new materials, the outstanding external visibility and the rational positioning of all the commands make this control station an ideal work position for all applications. Access to the cab is easy and safe thanks to the handy steel ladder, whereas the seat is fitted with good mechanical suspension as standard. Another standard feature is the steering column with tilt adjustment, and the instrument panel that follows its movements to ensure perfect visibility of the information on the digital displays at all times.
A comfortable, foldaway, passenger seat is available as an optional extra. On the versions with cab, the 6W Profi range includes air-conditioning as standard; the air is delivered via 10 adjustable air points to ensure perfectly distributed ventilation. The two air filters for the cab are cleverly located at the sides of the roof, protected by covers that can easily be removed for cleaning. There are also another two internal filters for recirculation and for keeping the cooled air clean, so no additional energy is used unnecessarily.
